The DORADO and XS-ABILITY project teams organized a measurement campaign in Belgium`s BR1 and BR3 reactors. Goal of the mission was to test the feasibility of various digitalization technologies to create a 3D model of the facility combined with the radiological maps. In this webinar we will present the achieved results, share our experience and discuss future opportunities.

With emerging digitalization technologies like LiDARs, drones, robots, thermal cameras, radioactivity sensors and others we scanned interiors of reactor and turbine halls, resulting in large sets of point clouds and radioactivity maps. We also tested technologies like voice recognition for hands-free inspections inside nuclear facilities.
